Nikhil Advani’s ‘Patiala House’ is growing bigger and more exciting. First it was coming together of classic stars Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia. Then as it is a cricket-based film, the production team brought in several Indian and international cricketers. And now the film has roped cricketer commentators Nikhil Chopra and Sanjay Manjrekar as well.

The former Indian cricketers had been in London at the Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club recently along with the film’s cast to shoot a cricket match sequence. It is said that like David Gower, Graham Gooch, Graham Hitch, Alec Stewart and many international cricketers had also been on the location for the shoot.

Did you know? ‘Patiala House’ is in fact the first Hindi film to be shot at The Lords, The Oval and The Trent Bridge cricket grounds in England. The film features Akshay Kumar in the role of a cricketer, with Anushka Sharma playing the female lead.
